1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create your Silent Film in Adobe Premiere Rush. Use complete sentences. Try to recall as many of the different tools and processes as possible.

The first step to produce a silent film is to have a solid storyboard and script. That's where I started first. The film is about a character who struggles with depression and anger. This eventually leads to her to lose everything. The next step would be to film the idea/story. I used a cannon camera to film my scenes. This part was more of the easier step because I had already planned out the shots and with my storyboard it gave me a huge boost. After filming I had to export my clips from a memory card to the computer and used a program called Premiere Pro. It took a long time to edit specific parts to piece them together into one film. I used a lot of cutting, fading, and color grading, to achieve my desire final vision.

2. What was the easiest part of the process of making a silent film? What was the most difficult part? How did you overcome it?

The easiest of the process of making a silent film was the production tag. This is because I have already envisioned what I wanted which was a butterfly. The meaning behind the production tag resembles my favorite animal, freedom and change. The most challenging part of the silent film making was the movie poster. It was challenging because I had only myself to shoot the picture. Having to go back and forth was tiring even when setting a timer. As I've tried many attempts I had finally achieved the picture I was targeting. Overcoming this took a lot of patience.

3. What was the experience of working with a group like? Did everyone carry their own weight and contribute equally to the production process? Why or why not?

I chose to work by myself for this project because I work better alone and I want to be in charge of my own idea and shots. Yes, working with a group would make things a lot easier but I wanted to film what I wanted. I would say I definitely carried out this project wonderfully. Each individual part of the project was thought out and carefully put together.

4. Based on the learning target, "Understand the component steps and skills required to design, edit, and produce a Silent Film by producing a storyboard, script, audio and video clips that use characterization, style, and related elements for specific aesthetic purposes ". What level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding) Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

Overall looking at the learning target I would grade myself a mastery level of Exceeding expectations. A break down of that goes to the programs I used. For example, My production tag would definitely exceed beyond expectation because I used 3D animation. I would also state that my silent film overall was great because it captures the story and characters emotion. The editing portion of the film was another part to look with the transitions on visual and audible effects.
