How I started my landscape project was opening the program called "Adobe Illustrator". Then I proceeded to create a new file which will be the start of my landscape project. When creating my canvas I chose a horizontal layout bc I had the image of my creation and it would be perfect for my landscape. After creating my canvas I then used the shape tool and insert a rectangle to add a base. Then I changed the color the base by changing the fill color to shades of blue to give an effect of a night sky. Now that I was satisfied with the background I then selected the pen tool to create my mountains in three sections my foreground, middle ground. Now that I know where my space is taken up I started to work on the night sky. since my theme was night I added a moon. How I added the moon was inserting an elipse changing the color with a gradient with shapes of white and light blue. to give the moon more of a bright shiny star I added an effect by clicking a button labelled FX. The next strep was to look for the name outer glow that will truly give me the effect of the moon. When I used it I noticed how strong the effect was and to solve that problem I changed the opacity to a minimum. While the same tools i've used and learned I then started to add details and depth to my landscape. To add last final touch I searched an image on google for a forest tree, I clicked and dragged the image to the program and traced the image by clicking the button called Trace Image and cut it out. I soon found myself finished with my landscape.
